I could not even keep up with the medical bills as they came in, let alone afford all of my medical expenses and wellness treatments to recover from chemotherapy. SAMFund enabled me to move forward with my life without obsessing over how I would afford my medical bills and expenses... My grant also paid for my costs of attending yoga, which was truly one of the most important steps in my road to recovery.
