“I have been living with the after-effects of cancer for too long and desperately want to be able to support myself and get out of debt. I have been paying my debts steadily, but progress is frustratingly slow when my income is a Social Security Disability check...In order to move forward with my goal of earning a college degree, I need help paying for school. Because of my cancer treatment, I cannot work the kind of jobs that I used to. On disability income, I have trouble making ends meet, and it would take me many, many years to first pay off debts, then save enough to pay for school...
