“During my cancer treatment I took a leave of absence and was not enrolled as a full-time student from May until December. As a result of this, I used up my six-month grace period on my student loans, which are now due. Any financial assistance I receive from this grant will be used to cover health insurance, prescriptions, and student loans until I am eligble for health insurance through a full-time job.”
