“I don't know if anyone who has not been directly affected by cancer could understand how overwhelming every aspect of it is. So many people I know think my battle is over, and I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that it may never be over--that in one way or another, I may be fighting this for the rest of my life. But I do know that I need to learn how to accept what has happened and deal with it in an emotional and spiritual way. I am reaching out to The SAMFund to help me learn how.”
