“Receiving this grant would relieve a huge financial burden that I never intended on having. I can understand having student loan, vehicle or mortgage loan debt, but medical? It never crossed my mind that I would owe such a large amount of money for surviving cancer… I owe so many different medical providers money, it’s almost dizzying when I receive my monthly statements. To not have to worry about those each month would be fantastic. Not only would a financial burden be lifted, I would be able to go back to school and finish my degree.”
