“The SAMFund will allow me to be in control of my finances when I come out of college and hopefully get engaged to my girlfriend of five years. I am not financially steady and cannot be able to get married until I have a job and have an income coming in. I have gone on to help as a counselor and intern for Little Star Foundation, which is a foundation for cancer kids to get a break from their treatment and just have fun. I served as a mentor to many of these kids and it is the best job that I have have ever been apart of...it gives many of these kids hope to see someone go through something they are going through and who is perfectly fine.”
