“No matter what happens in the future, I am compelled to act positively for solutions that would, if not completely eradicate the disease, alleviate the hardships and the ordeals and the suffering that others face as a result of cancer. Being a survivor means to realize to realize so many others suffer from the disease, suffer from the treatments, and still end up losing the fight. It is important to persevere regardless of that possibility, and no one should lose the fight from lack of knowledge or resources.”
