Chicago, IL - December 2009
We learned about a Midwest tradition at the first "Cornhole for Cancer Survivors" tourney in Chicago! The event, our first in the area, was a huge success - we raised close to $10,000!
Our awesome committee deserves all the credit for coordinating such a fun event: Amy Korin, Lauren Horowitz, Hailey Craig, Jason Feldman, Andrew Feldman, Charlotte Loftus, Leeann Terwiliger, Kate Wimbiscus and Sharon Karsten.
Kate and Hailey brought the house down by sharing their amazing stories as cancer survivors and SAMFund grant recipients.
We look forward to coming back to Chicago this fall (and hopefully we'll fare better in the Cornhole tournament)!
